TJH Consulting, LLC provides consulting services to the meat and poultry industries. Thomas J. Hoffman is the President of the firm. Since retiring from USDA, he has applied his diverse experience when working with some of the largest law firms in the country, especially those that specialize in violations involving meat and poultry products.
He had 35 years of service with USDA’s, Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). During that time he participated in the investigation, documentation and processing of over 500 criminal cases, 50 injunction actions and 120 administrative cases. He is considered a subject-matter-expert on the Federal Meat Inspection Act and the Poultry Products Inspection Act.
